Instead of selecting a service in the calendar filters and then selecting the same service again inside the availability overlay, the plugin connects the two controls automatically.

When a user selects exactly one service from the calendar filter, the availability overlay is automatically activated and synchronized with that service. Available and booked time slots can then be viewed directly on the calendar, allowing staff to choose a suitable date and time and continue with the standard LatePoint booking process.

If multiple services are selected, the availability overlay remains disabled because the services may have different durations, schedules, or assigned agents.

Always-Visible Calendar Filters

The plugin keeps LatePoint’s advanced calendar filters permanently expanded, removing the need to click the three-dot menu each time.

Users can quickly filter the calendar by:

The existing category organization and service search remain available, making it easier to find the correct service even when the business has a large service list.

Selecting exactly one service automatically:

• Activates LatePoint’s availability overlay

The original overlay toggle and duplicate service selector remain functional in the background but are hidden from the interface. This creates a cleaner calendar and prevents users from accidentally selecting two different services.

Direct Booking from the Calendar

Once a service has been selected, doctors and front-desk staff can see available and booked times directly on the calendar.

They can click an available time slot and continue with the standard LatePoint booking process without manually activating the overlay or searching for the same service again.
