Why You Need It
When more than one person uses the LatePoint calendar, manual refresh becomes unreliable. Without updates, staff may:
- See outdated availability
- Miss newly booked appointments
- Risk accidental double booking
This addon eliminates that problem.
What It Does
- Automatically refreshes the LatePoint → Calendar page.
- Configurable refresh interval (default: 30 seconds).
- Displays a live countdown timer (e.g. “Refresh in 18 s”).
- Optionally pauses refresh when the browser tab is not visible (enabled by default).
- Works across all calendar views:
- Day
- Week
- Month
- List
No frontend changes. Backend only.

Setup
- Install and activate LatePoint.
- Install and activate LatePoint Calendar Auto-Refresh.
- Go to LatePoint → Calendar Auto-Refresh.
- Enable auto-refresh.
- Set your preferred refresh interval.
- Save settings.
Open LatePoint → Calendar to see it in action.

Countdown Display
When enabled, the calendar header shows:
- Refresh in X s – live countdown
- Auto-refresh paused – when the tab is hidden (if enabled)
This gives users full visibility of refresh timing.
