What This Plugin Does
🔄 Automatic Hourly Backups
The plugin backs up all LatePoint database tables every hour using WordPress cron (runs when someone visits your site).
💾 Keeps Only the Latest 3 Backups
- Always keeps your 3 most recent backups
- If there is no change in database backup is skipped
- Older backups are automatically removed
- Download backups anytime from the settings page
📧 Smart Daily Email Backup
Only one backup per day is sent to your email — at the hour you choose (default: 23:00).
All other hourly backups are stored safely on your server.
⚡ Manual Backup Anytime
Click “Run Backup Now” to instantly create a backup.
If it meets the size limit, it will also be emailed to you.
What Gets Backed Up?
All LatePoint-related database tables, including:
- Bookings
- Customers
- Orders
- Waiting list
- And any table related to LatePoint
Your appointment system data stays protected.

To restore:
- Use restore button next to backup
- Use upload form (from a remote backup)
- Use phpMyAdmin
- Or MySQL command line
- Or your hosting provider’s restore tool
Import the .sql file into your database to restore your LatePoint data.
